Animal Life
Many animal species depend on the water in our creeks.
In our monitoring, we focus on the aquatic invertebrates found in the stream bed—the kinds and numbers of creatures we discover are an indication of stream health.
Other animals seen in our area include stream fish, frogs & salamanders, turtles & snakes.
Different birds and mammals are found along the stream.
